Lidar Detection of Wakes for Wind Turbine Optimization

Objective:
The project addresses how lidar-based control can be used in the presence of wind turbine wakes. The contribution by DTU is to develop and demonstrate good wake detection and wake compensation algorithms that can subsequently be used by Windar Photonics.

Expected outcome:
Increase sales of Windar Photonics lidars by expanding their applicability

The project began October 2016 and will run for 2 years.
