Objective:
Demonstration that power performance measurements with spinner anemometers can be made on different types of wind turbines in all kinds of terrain, in free wind and in wakes of other wind turbines.
Expected outcome:
Industry will have a cost-effective solution for power curve warranty measurements and tracking of power performance on different wind turbines, in all types of terrain.
The project began November 2016 and will run until 31 July, 2021.
