The parts of the wind turbine

A prototype wind turbine is described by the following parameters:

• Rotor diameter: the size of the blade area.
• Hub height: the height from the ground to the center of the hub.
• Tip height: the height from the ground to the highest point of the rotor diameter.
• Power: the maximum electrical power that the wind turbine can produce.
