The impressive development of variable energy sources and their integration into energy systems have been driven by an intelligent combination of technological development, markets and policies, in which DTU has provided scientific advice to decision-makers within wind and energy systems.

The future will be even more dramatic in terms of the accelerated deployment of renewable energy sources and system integration. This will require a step-change in scientific advice to support decision-makers in making the energy transition a reality.
