Noise test

During a noise test, the noise level of the prototype wind turbine is measured as described in the standard. Measurements are taken at specific wind speeds, primarily behind the wind turbine where the noise is typically highest, at a fixed distance (rotor radius + hub height). However, studies are also conducted where measurements are taken around the wind turbine at varying distances to assess the actual sound propagation.
