We are happy to announce that the proceedings of the “39th Risø International Symposium on Materials Science” will appear in the Open Access Journal of the IOP Conference Series: Materials Science and Engineering. All papers published in IOP Conference Series are fully citable and upon publication will be free to download. Authors may be interested to know that IOP Conference Series now receives in excess of 2.3 million article downloads per year, and is abstracted and indexed in Web of Science, Scopus, and many others.
All papers submitted to the Risø International Symposiums will be published according to the IOP publishing terms and conditions which can be found at:

Where to submit your paper
Authors are asked to prepare their papers using Microsoft Word or LaTeX, according to the journal guidelines and templates, and then convert these files to PDF. Full instructions on preparing your paper, along with templates, can be found on the IOP Conference Series website. http://conferenceseries.iop.org/content/authors
The papers shall be submitted to the local Organisers by sending the papers in PDF format to (Symp39@windenergy.dtu.dk) at the latest by 1 May 2018. The papers will be reviewed and the authors will receive a review report as soon as possible after submission. The final version must fit into the allowed space of 6-8 A4 pages for contributed papers and 12-20 A4 pages for invited lectures.
