Power and Energy Systems Summer School
The DTU Power and Energy Systems Summer School is an intensive five-day programme exploring the latest developments and applications of machine learning and optimization for energy systems.
Founded in 2016, the summer school brings together researchers, industry experts and students to explore current challenges, methods and technologies shaping future energy systems. Through lectures, discussions, and collaborative activities, the summer school creates an environment for knowledge exchange, professional development, and new research connections.
Programme highlights
Each edition is developed around current research topics and invited speakers. While the programme evolves from year to year, previous editions have included:
- Lectures by leading researchers and industrial companies
- Research presentations and discussions
- Networking opportunities with participants from academia and industry
- Social activities
Growing year after year
Since its launch in 2016, the DTU Power and Energy Systems Summer School has developed into an established international platform for researchers, students, and professionals in power and energy systems, bringing together more than 500 participants from over 100 institutions.
