Accelerating wind energy innovation through international research and technology collaboration
The International Energy Agency Wind Technology Collaboration Programme (IEA Wind) is an international co-operation founded in 1977 that operates under the auspices of the International Energy Agency (IEA). The focus is to advance wind energy technologies by enabling governments, industries and research institutions to collaborate on research, development and commercialisation of innovative solutions.
DTU researchers participate in a wide range of collaborative R&D projects, referred as Tasks. Some serve as Operating Agents, taking a lead in developing and coordinating the international R&D activities.
DTU researchers also represent the Danish government in the governance of IEA Wind. Below is an overview of the active tasks where we contribute:
