PhD Summer School 2024

Every year, DTU gathers world-leading experts in remote sensing for wind energy for a summer school for PhD students and industry people who want to learn more. As turbines are installed in more remote areas and reaching further up in the atmosphere, both onshore and offshore, the need for remote sensing is constantly increasing. In addition to getting an overview of remote sensing for wind energy, the participants also expand their network through discussions and social activities with lectures and fellow participants. Because we want to strengthen the cross-Atlantic collaboration, we are doing two summer schools this year, one in Denmark and another in Boulder, USA.
If you want to know more about the summer school, don’t hesitate to contact the organizers, senior scientist Alfredo Peña (aldi@dtu.dk) and professor Jakob Mann (jmsq@dtu.dk).
