The new materials and technology for wind turbine blades will still be based on fibre composites, and Risø DTU will contribute to the project within optimisation and characterisation of materials, materials properties and manufacturing technology.
The aim is to develop faster and more cost effective manufacturing of wind turbine blades.
Partcipants in the project are The Danish National Advanced Technology Foundation, LM Glasfiber A/S, Comfil ApS, Aalborg University and Risø DTU.
