GASP aims at bringing down the Levelized Cost of Energy by reducing uncertainty and providing quality data for turbine siting parameters globally.
Objective:
The objective of the GASP project is to bring down the Levelized Cost of Energy by reducing uncertainty and providing quality data for turbine siting parameters globally. This will ensure that the turbines’ structural integrity is suitable for the environmental conditions, reducing cost by avoiding over-classification of turbines. The output from GASP provides the required parameters for market schemes.
Expected outcome:
High resolution of global atlases for siting parameters and recommended turbine classes, and web tools. Additional datasets and method that go through the commercial pipelines of DTU and EMD.
This project began January 2019 and runs for two years.
Total project budget: 5.55 mio. DKK.
