Objective:
Offshore wind power development is a key element in the development of sustainable energy systems, not only in Denmark but also in the neighbouring countries around the North Sea, where UK is leading the development in terms of installed offshore wind power capacity.
The objective of the NSON-DK project is to study how the future massive offshore wind power and the associated offshore grid development will affect the Danish power system on short term, medium term and long term towards of the transition towards a future sustainable energy system.
The project begun in April 2016 and will run for 4 years until 31st of March 2020.
